Ken Koziol, President of EDGE Multifamily Design Group, is responsible for overseeing every facet of project design. With an extensive background spanning over 30 years in building design and construction, Ken has built a portfolio of more than $5 billion worth of projects in multiple industries.

After receiving his civil engineering degree from Rose-Hulman, Ken served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps. During his military tenure, he was responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of naval shore facilities along the west coast and throughout the Pacific Ocean.

Following his military career, Ken embarked on a new chapter in the aviation industry where he held pivotal roles for over 15 years. As the Senior Design Manager for the McNamara Terminal project in Detroit, Ken spearheaded the design of a new cutting-edge airport terminal and the luxurious Westin hotel for what was then Northwest Airlines. Subsequently, Ken made his mark in Indianapolis as the Deputy Program Manager for the New Indianapolis Airport, where he led the charge in planning, designing, and executing the terminal area components of this groundbreaking project. Decades after their completion, both airports continue to be recognized among the best in the world.

Ken has spent the past 10 years in the development and design of over 60 new multifamily communities across 9 states. In his spare time, he is an active member of Mensa and has volunteered his time through advisory boards and the cub scouts. Ken’s hobbies include genealogy, astrophotography and learning to play piano.
